How to import an existing wallet
Use a recovery phrase, a private key or a CoinExle backup file from another wallet or phone.
Updated October 19, 2026
You can move a wallet you already use (for example from Trust Wallet, TronLink or MetaMask) into CoinExle.
Steps
- On the welcome screen tap I already have a wallet.
- Choose how to import:
- Phrase — enter your 12 or 24 words separated by spaces, or scan a recovery-phrase QR.
- Private key — paste a 64-character private key.
- Backup file — choose your
coinexle-backup….jsonfile from Google Drive and enter its backup password.
- Tap Import, name the wallet and set your PIN.
Tips
- Words must be in the right order and spelled exactly as written.
- A recovery phrase restores all networks (TRON, Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Chain and Polygon). A private key restores only the network it belongs to.
- You can add more wallets later from Settings → Manage wallets.
