How to create a new wallet

Creating a wallet takes about a minute and needs no email or phone number.

Steps

1. Open CoinExle and tap Create a new wallet.
2. Read the safety notes and tap Show my phrase.
3. Write the 12 words on paper, in the same order. Do not take a screenshot — the app blocks screenshots on this screen to protect you.
4. Tap I wrote it down and answer the quick check by choosing the correct word for each number.
5. Give your wallet a name. If a friend gave you an invite code, you can add it here.
6. Choose a 6-digit PIN. You will use it to open the app and confirm transactions.

Important

• Your recovery phrase is the only way to restore your wallet if you lose your phone or forget your PIN.
• CoinExle never stores your phrase on its servers and will never ask for it.
