How to back up your recovery phrase

View your phrase

Go to Settings → Recovery phrase and enter your PIN. Write the words down and keep the paper somewhere safe and private.

Encrypted Google Drive backup

1. In the backup options choose Google Drive.
2. Create a strong backup password and confirm it.
3. In the share menu choose Google Drive and save the file.

The file is encrypted on your phone with your password before it leaves the device. If you forget the backup password, the file cannot be opened — keep your paper copy too.

Move to a new phone with QR

Choose QR code to show your phrase as a QR. On the new phone choose Import wallet → Scan QR. Do this only in private — anyone who scans the QR can take your funds.
