I forgot my PIN

How to get back into your wallet with your recovery phrase.

For your security, the PIN cannot be reset and nobody can recover it for you. After too many wrong attempts the app locks for a while.

Get back in

  1. Make sure you have your recovery phrase or Google Drive backup and its password.
  2. Remove the app data: uninstall and reinstall CoinExle, or go to Android Settings → Apps → CoinExle → Storage → Clear data.
  3. Open CoinExle, tap I already have a wallet and import your wallet. Set a new PIN.

Your funds are safe on the blockchain the whole time. Without your recovery phrase or backup, the wallet cannot be restored — so never clear the app data unless you have one.
