Why is my transaction pending?

What a pending transaction means and how to check it on the blockchain.

Updated October 19, 2026

After you send, the transaction shows as Pending until the network confirms it. Most transfers confirm within a minute; Bitcoin can take 10–60 minutes.

Check the status

  1. Open Activity and tap the transaction.
  2. It opens on the blockchain explorer (Tronscan, Etherscan, BscScan, PolygonScan or mempool.space), where you can see confirmations.

Still pending?

  • Bitcoin: fees change with network load — busy periods are slower.
  • If the explorer shows Failed, the coins were not sent (only the network fee was used). You can try again.
  • If the explorer shows Success but the receiver doesn't see it, ask them to check they are looking at the same network.
